| Vision & Mission |
Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drug, and Violence Prevention Program funds provide opportunities for schools, communities, businesses,
and families to work together to develop and implement comprehensive programs to prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use,
violence or other disruptive behavior among youth.
County prevention coordinators offer technical assistance, training, and support to school districts in the preparation and
implementation of their prevention and intervention programs. An Advisory Council at each district and at the Orange County
Department of Education provides community input to these programs.
